1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pawlse platform (pawlse.com), operated by Ashcroft House LLC ("Pawlse," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Pawlse is a cloud-based veterinary practice management platform that provides scheduling, medical records, billing, communications, and other tools for veterinary clinics. We also facilitate communication between veterinary clinics and their clients (pet owners) via SMS text messages, email, and other channels.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to receive text messages through Pawlse on behalf of a veterinary clinic:

Program Name: Pawlse Veterinary Communications
Message Types: You may receive appointment reminders, vaccination alerts, prescription notifications, lab result notifications, billing reminders, and (if separately opted in) promotional messages about clinic services and wellness programs.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your pet's care needs and appointment schedule. You may receive multiple messages per week during active care periods, or less frequently otherwise.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Check with your carrier for details.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. Upon opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further texts will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
Opt-In: To re-subscribe after opting out, text START to the number from which you received messages, or complete the online consent form at your clinic's Pawlse consent page.
Help: For help or support, reply HELP to any message you receive, or contact us at support@pawlse.com.
Supported Carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent Not Required for Purchase: Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from any veterinary clinic using Pawlse.
No Mobile Data Sharing: Your mobile number and opt-in information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use our services for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or malicious content
Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our platform

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Pawlse platform — including software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are owned by Ashcroft House LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Pawlse is a practice management tool and does not provide veterinary medical advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashcroft House LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ashcroft House LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of our services or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
